We want to be fully transparent that children (<8yo) do not typically retain our fairy hair strands like adults do because their hair is thin and their hair follicles are still so immature. They shed much more quickly than grown ups do. Please know this before making your purchase/decision. We find plenty of exceptions to this rule, and no matter what, getting Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™ is a magical experience for all ages! While we don't have a specific age for a child to receive Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™, there are three requirements that must be met in order to receive Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™:

1. The child must be able to speak in full sentences in order to give verbal consent to receive fairy hair.

2. The child must be able to sit in the chair by themself.

3. The child needs to be able to sit still while receiving Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™.

Party Follow Up-Reminder

We are all set!

One of the Finklepott's Fairies will arrive in costume and attend your party and sparkle up to 10 guests getting 10 strands each of Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™ and offer a sprinkle of our Magical Pixie Dust and the Finklepott Fairy Hair Blessing.

Your party is $250 for 10 guests and $25 for additional guests.

You can pay us $100 non-refundable deposit at

How to throw a great Fairy Hair Party/Mixer

1-Our Fairies are delicate little beings.

We need to have a temperature-controlled climate, be protected from the sun and bugs, and have a well-lit, and smoke-free environment. Sometimes depending on the Fairy, we need a pet-free environment. Outdoor parties are very challenging.

2-If you are having a pool party please ask your guests to wait to swim until they have had their Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair™ applied.

 

3- ALL Hair should be dry and well brushed (and without product) before our application.

 

4- Send the Sign Up Genius link out and Invite DOUBLE PLUS 5 more guests than the minimum needed people for your event.

TELL EVERYONE TO BRING A FRIEND!!!!!

HALF won't respond at all.

Three guests will have something 'come up' at the last minute.

One just won't show up.

But a number of guests close to your minimum will come and two guests will bring a friend.....and a few guests will get doubles or triples! So they count as 2 and 3 guests!

 

5- Some of our hostesses ask their guests to prepay with cash to avoid cancellation or being charged themselves to make up the minimum

 

6- The Fairy sets a schedule and adds guests depending on increments of Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™:

10-15 strands -15 minutes

20 -30 strands-30 minutes

 

If parents want to split 10 strands between 2 children-15 minutes ($30)

7- Three days before the event get a final headcount and remind the guests of their appointment times. We will contact you 2 days before the event for that headcount.

 

8- Make sure you read/send this marketing to ALL your guests and make sure guests bringing CHILDREN see the disclaimer!!!!

Setting up in Your Shop

I do believe that my ladies in your area would like to meet me at your shop to receive Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair.

 

Here's how we operate!

 

We have been in business since 2010 and we have many followers, many in your exact area.

We can do an event 2 ways.

1- We can be hired at our corporate rate.

2- We create set appointments for the event.

 

1-Corporate Rate:

Our corporate rate is $150 per hour per Fairy -with a three hour minimum, plus travel. Exceptions can be made to special interest groups at the Fairy's discretion. An Official Finklepott Fairy will arrive in costume and set up a 4 foot table and chair. We will fuse 2-3 strands of Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™ to each guest and staff and offer a sprinkle of our Magical Pixie Dust and the Finklepott Fairy Hair Blessing.

 

2-Set Appointments:

We create the event and use an online Sign up Genius for our appointments. Provided we have enough guests sign up to make it worth the trip- we come!  The required minimum for your event is (insert #).

We have a very high quality, proprietary product called Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair™.

It can't be found on the Internet or in Salons, it can only be found with us. It is not inexpensive hair tinsel that falls out immediately or worse- can melt your hair together if heat is applied.

It can be bleached, flat iron, and curled up to 450°. As we have gained popularity many have tried to imitate us, but they don’t use our proprietary product. The magic to our success is in our magical product, which has been blessed and cultivated by actual fairies.

 

Official Finklepott's Fairies are the only qualified magical creatures that are able to apply our fabulous sparkles to your hair.

We do not pay a fee to set up in a store, nor do we offer any of our earnings to the shop keepers.

The goal is for this to be win-win for the both of us. You can turn my sale into a sale for your store, too!

Also, our shopkeeper sometimes offer a perk or coupon to my customers to win them over. But that's not required. It is, however, very effective. Sometimes shopkeepers set up a table to get Facebook 'likes' or email addresses as a prerequisite to getting Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair™ to build their client bases.

We offer 5 FREE Fairy Hair strands to willing staff members for our first event. It is our experience that businesses who would like us to come in have a more successful event when they have at least one person in the business showing off our hair to your client base. Gift Certificate

Most gift certificates are redeemed by a private appointment. However, we can certainly accommodate a gift certificate at a public event. AshevilleFairyHair.com (public appearances post) offers the most up to date information about our public events. If the event asks for you to make an appointment- please tell your recipient to indicate how many strands they are getting. To make sure enough time is allotted, if they are getting more than 10 strands.

Pre-Event Hosting

We highly recommend you wear Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair™ before having a party. It is our experience that parties are not well attended when the hostess has not introduced their circle of friends to our product by wearing it first. It is very difficult to describe what Finkkepott's Original Fairy Hair™ is and the descriptions can sound hokey to someone who has never seen it. It also doesn't photograph very well. However, once someone has seen it glittering in real life, they can see how subtle and beautiful it is and will want it too.

 

Please text us to schedule an appt for you to get sparkled so we can get a party going for you.

 

Fundraiser Inquiry

Unfortunately, fundraisers are not as lucrative as you might think. The most our very small business can offer is 10% of our total earnings less our travel expenses. Which means that you would get about $2 per person.

Just to put that into perspective we would need to do at least 10 people for you to make $20. It takes us about 2-3 hours to do 10 people. If this is still something you want to pursue, we would be happy to set a date and time.

One idea that has been successful is if you purchase a party from us, then you offer a raffle for a Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair™ Party for 10 people. If you charge $20 a ticket and you have 50 people put in tickets for it; you make $1000. You pay us $250 for the party and your profit is $750. You can make a lot more money than having us actually do a fundraiser for you.

Unhappy Client with Loss of Strands

I know it’s frustrating when the Fairy Hair falls out, especially when it’s earlier than we want. When you lose one of our strands, you will always find that one of your hairs is attached to it. There’s nothing that we can do about your shedding. I would be happy to replace the strands this one time at no cost. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a higher than usual shedding cycle.

Sometimes if you flip your head upside down and brush snuggles out from the underside it’s a little bit more gentle. Anything that is hard on your human hair is going to be hard on your Fairy Hair.

We are always fully transparent that children do not typically retain our fairy hair strands like adults do because their hair is thin and their hair follicles are still so immature. They shed much more quickly than grown ups do. She was given many extra strands at no charge.

You may be going through a higher than usual shedding cycle. Hormones, stress, other lifestyle and health factors into your shedding pattern. It is very likely that the next time you see me for fairy hair, you won’t be shedding quite so much. I’m sorry this happened and hope that next time you will retain it longer. Thanks.

Horse Prices

For horses, we charge $350 for 100 strands. Our Finklepott Fairy safety is very important when working with animals. We reserve the right to stop or refuse service if the animal does not appear open to receive the strands of Fairy Hair or if the Fairy does not feel safe.

Sparkling Animals

Some of our Finklepott Fairies do sparkle animals. Please share with us the number and type of animals you have in order for us to provide you a price quote and availability. We do need at least 3 inches of hair to work with to apply our strands. Some animals tails or manes have been sparkled, and when long enough, other body furr.

Prices for Braids or Dreads

$5 per braid or dread-lock. If braids or dread locks are permanent, we can make it so you can easily remove our strands.

Otherwise, you may want to choose to remove your braid before your sparkling session in order to receive the most complete look.
